Bhadrak: In an unfortunate incident, a pedestrian was killed and 10 passengers of a bus were injured after the vehicle overturned at Jagulaipada under Bonth police station in Bhadrak district.
The incident took place at around 7:30 am when the private bus, named Arupananda, travelling from Bhadrak to Bonth, lost control and crashed after hitting a pedestrian.
Locals alleged that the bus was speeding, leading to the accident.
Traffic was disrupted for some time following the incident. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
