Bhubaneswar: A bus collided with a trailer truck on Sambalpur-Cuttack National Highway 55 near Luhapank at Redhakhol in Sambalpur district, killing the bus conductor and injuring around 10 people.
The accident occurred late on Sunday night when the bus, travelling from Cuttack to Sambalpur, crashed into the trailer.
Upon being informed, police rushed to the scene, rescued the injured, and took them to Redhakhol Hospital.
The deceased conductor’s body has been seized. Police, meanwhile, began an investigation to ascertain the reason behind the mishap.
