Businessman Shoots Self With Own Licensed Gun In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal:  A businessman committed suicide today by shooting himself in the head with his licensed gun at Station Bazar area in Dhenkanal district.

Balaram Sahu who was under severe mental agony over his business affairs took the extreme step, neighbours said.

He had a stone crusher business. He ended his life in the absence of his two sons and daughter-in-laws.

The town police have reached the spot and started the investigation. A scientific team also rushed to the spot and accompanied the probing team in the investigation.

Meanwhile, the family of Balaram Sahu informed that he suffered a huge loss and was obsessed with debt.

Police seized the gun Balaram used in killing himself. The body was also seized for post-mortem.
