Bhubaneswar: The 33rd meeting of the Odisha Cabinet was held on Wednesday at the conference hall of Lok Seva Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The meeting reviewed key administrative matters and policy proposals placed before the state government.
Briefing the media after the meeting, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said that a total of 10 proposals from seven different departments were tabled before the Cabinet. All the proposals received approval and were formally cleared.
Among the decisions taken, the Cabinet approved a proposal relating to the prorogation of the fifth session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly. The approval marks the formal conclusion of the recently held Assembly session, in accordance with constitutional procedures.
The Cabinet meeting forms part of the government’s regular decision-making process to address legislative, administrative and governance-related matters, with the Chief Minister reiterating the importance of timely approvals to ensure smooth functioning of the state administration.
