Bhubaneswar: A speeding car crashed into a traffic post on Damana Road, leaving a couple seriously injured late on Saturday night.
The car, coming from Patia side in the city, lost control after hitting the post and veered into oncoming traffic, hitting the couple’s scooter. Locals rushed to the scene and rescued the critically injured couple before shifting them to Capital Hospital.
The car was completely damaged in the accident. Police suspect the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol. Police have seized the vehicle and launched an investigation into the incident.
