Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to declare the Class XII Result 2026 shortly. The results are expected to be released on Tuesday after 12 noon.

According to reports, the Class XII board examinations for the 2026 session were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. This year, CBSE introduced the On-Screen Marking system for digital evaluation of answer sheets. This initiative aims to reduce manual errors and accelerate the process of result compilation.

Once the results are declared, students will be able to check their marks through the official websites cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. The results will also be made available on DigiLocker, the UMANG application, and through SMS services to ensure easier access during high traffic periods.

Students will be able to download their provisional digital marksheets through DigiLocker shortly after the results are announced. To access the marksheet, candidates must log in using their Aadhaar-linked or registered mobile credentials. After signing in, they need to navigate to the Education section, select the Central Board of Secondary Education option, and then click on “Class XII Marksheet.”

The original marksheets and passing certificates will be distributed later through the respective schools. Following the declaration of results, CBSE is expected to open post-result services. These include applications for verification of marks, re-evaluation, requests for photocopies of answer sheets, and compartment examinations.

Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready and regularly check the official portals for the latest updates.

A total of 18.59 lakh students had appeared for the Class 12 board examinations this year.
