Bhubaneswar: The Chhatisha Nijog meeting is scheduled to take place today in Puri to discuss and finalise the schedule and rituals pertaining to the world-famous Rath Yatra festival.
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the temple’s Chief Administrator at Niladri Bhakta Nivas at 5 PM.
Decisions will be made regarding water arrangements for Snana Purnima and the smooth conduct of the Hati Besha. The meeting will also cover detailed discussions on the smooth conduct of major upcoming rituals, including the Gundicha Yatra, Suna Besha, and Niladri Bije, ensuring that all arrangements are well-coordinated and executed seamlessly.
The meeting will be attended by the Chhatisha Nijog members, the District Collector, the Superintendent of Police (SP), along with all other officials and the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
