Bhubaneswar: A crucial meeting of Chhatisha Nijoga is scheduled to take place today at 4 pm under the chairmanship of Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
According to reports, the meeting will focus on finalizing the rituals for the upcoming holy Kartik month, which begins on October 3. Besides, emphasis will be given for the smooth accommodation of habisyalis who throng to the Jagannath temple in large numbers during the holy month of Kartik. Emphasis will also be given to the timely preparation and release of ‘Balabhoga’ and ‘Mahaprasad’.
Most importantly, decisions regarding traffic management during Panchuka and Kartik Purnima will also be made during the meeting, ensuring a smooth experience for devotees. Additionally, the relocation of Ratna Bhandar will be another important point of discussion.
Apart from Chief Administrator of the temple administration, District Collector and members of different Nojogs will attend the meeting to ensure that the rituals are conducted smoothly and devotees have a hassle-free experience during the month.
