Bhubaneswar: Governor of Chhattisgarh Ramen Deka paid a courtesy visit to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. MLA of Raipur (North) Purandar Mishra was also present during the meeting.
Both sides held positive talks on mutual development, regional connectivity, and the welfare of the Odia community residing in Chhattisgarh. Cultural exchange between the two neighbouring states also figured in the discussion.
Taking to his post CM Majhi wrote, “Today, a courtesy meeting was held at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar with the Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ramen Deka Ji, and the MLA of Raipur (North), Purandar Mishra Ji.
During this discussion, positive talks took place regarding inter-state cooperation between the two states, mutual development, regional connectivity, and the welfare and cultural exchange of the Odia community residing in Chhattisgarh.
The meeting assumes significance as Odisha and Chhattisgarh share long borders and have common interests in areas like infrastructure, trade, and tribal welfare.
