Chief Minister Majhi Pays Tribute To 2001 Parliament Attack Victims

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has paid tribute to the security personnel who sacrificed their lives while defending the Parliament of India during the heinous terrorist attack on December 13, 2001.

The attack, carried out by five Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists, resulted in the deaths of 14 persons, including six Delhi Police personnel, two Parliament Security Service personnel, and a gardener.

In a social media post, CM Majhi expressed deep respect for the martyrs’ unparalleled courage.

“Paying tribute to the security personnel and victims who lost their lives protecting Parliament during the terrorist attack that took place on this day in 2001”, read the CM’s post.
