Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conducted key official meetings today at Kharavela Bhawan, even as the state observes a holiday on the fourth Saturday.
With the government nearing the completion of two years in office, the Chief Minister held detailed discussions with senior officials on the progress of key governance priorities. The meeting focused on the fulfillment of election promises, effective implementation of welfare schemes, advancement of industrialization, generation of employment opportunities, and future action plans for the state’s development.
In a high-level review, the Chief Minister evaluated the implementation of directions previously given to the police administration for strengthening law and order. He held direct discussions with Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department, Hemant Sharma, and Director General of Police Y.B. Khurania.
Emphasizing that a peaceful law and order environment is essential for overall development, Chief Minister Majhi instructed the police to work with efficiency, caution, and professionalism.
Advisor to the Chief Minister, Prakash Mishra, was present during the meetings.
