Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena today visited the Krushi Bhavan (office of the Agriculture department) and inaugurated the newly built crèche for the children of the employees working on the office premises.
Set up with the scientific principles for early childhood development, the crèche facility will cater to the needs of working women.
It was established to meet the best interests of toddlers and their mothers.
The crèche named “Kalika-Krushi Bhavan” will take care of children aged between six months old and six years old.
Trained assistants and co-ordinators have been employed to look after the kids.
The crèche will be open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm every day except public holidays.
Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Agriculture Department Principal Secretary Arabinda Padhee, and Agriculture Department Director Prem Chandra Chaudhary were present among others.
