Chithra Arumugam Takes Additional Charge As DG Of Gopabandhu Academy

Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Chithra Arumugam (RR-1995) has been given temporary additional charge as Director General (DG) of Training Coordination at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar. The move comes following the retirement of G. Mathivathanan.

According to an official notification from the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, the appointment is effective from January 31, 2026 (AN) and will remain in place until further orders.

Currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary of the Labour & ESI Department, with additional responsibility for the Science & Technology Department, Arumugam will continue to oversee her existing duties while handling the new assignment.
