Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has extended the deadline for submission of forms and fee payment for Ex-Regular students appearing in the Annual Higher Secondary Examination 2026. The extension follows disruptions caused by Cyclone Montha and requests from several higher secondary schools.

According to an official notification issued by Dr. Prasanta Kumar Parida, Controller of Examinations, the last date for form submission and fee payment through SBI Collect without a fine has been extended from October 28, 2025, to November 3, 2025. This extension applies to students in the Arts, Commerce, Science, Vocational streams, and Correspondence Courses.

“In continuation of this office Notification No 3694, dated 06.10.2025 I am directed to inform you that in view of the dislocation caused due to ensuing cyclone “Montha” and after careful consideration of request proposals received from a number of H.S. schools, it has been decided to extend the date of Form Fill up and deposit of fees through SBI collect of Ex-Regular candidates without fine (Arts/Commerce/Science & Vocational streams including Correspondence Course) for the Annual H.S. Examination, 2026 from 28.10.2025 to 03.11.2025,” the notification read.

The CHSE has clarified that principals and headmasters of affiliated schools are to complete the form submissions and pay the fees through SB Collect according to the revised schedule, without any fine. All other previously notified dates for form submission and enrollment, including fines of Rs 200 and Rs 600, remain unchanged.

The move aims to support students affected by the cyclone and ensure a smooth registration process for the upcoming examinations.
