Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, on Monday extended the deadline for the submission of applications for rechecking and re-addition of marks in Higher Secondary Examination answer scripts.
According to an official notification issued by Controller of Examinations Dr. Prasanta Kumar Parida, the earlier schedule for submitting applications was from June 19 to June 30, 2026. The council has now extended the last date for submission to July 4, 2026, after reviewing the schedule.
The notification has been circulated to all principals and headmasters of higher secondary schools and colleges across Odisha, requesting them to inform students about the revised deadline.
Students who wish to apply for rechecking or re-addition of marks are required to first download scanned copies of their answer scripts before submitting their applications within the extended timeframe.
The CHSE has urged students to make use of the extended opportunity and complete the application process within the stipulated date. It has also clarified that no applications will be accepted after July 4, 2026.
