CHSE Rolls Out Opportunity: Plus II Students Get Chance To Improve Marks In One Subject

Bhubaneswar: Plus II students can now reappear in one subject to improve their marks. The improvement exam will be held within 60 days of result declaration, and results will be published accordingly. This rule will be effective from this year, as per the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

As per CHSE decision, the instant exam will be held concurrently with the regular Plus II examinations. Previously, students could reappear only if they failed in one subject. This move aims to provide students with a chance to enhance their performance and academic records. This decision was taken in a meeting considering students’ interests, especially those with less than 75 per cent marks, who face difficulties in national entrance exams like NEET.

Those who failed won’t be eligible; they can appear for the instant exam instead. The initiative will give students a fair chance to boost their academic performance and increase their prospects for higher education.
