Two Tourists Drown In Puri Sea Due To Strong Currents

Puri: Two tourists drowned while bathing on Sector 14 beach near the Light House in morning hours on Monday.

According to reports, tourists entered the water in the morning and were swept away by strong currents. Lifeguards rushed to the scene and rescued the victims. Subsequently, they were taken to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead by doctors. The identities of the deceased tourists are yet to be ascertained.

This marks the third such drowning incident in Puri in recent days, raising concerns about safety measures at the popular tourist destination.
