Balasore: A Class X student died under mysterious circumstances just before he was leaving for the examination centre. This unfortunate incident took place at Baripada village under Bahanaga block in Balasore district, on Friday.
The deceased is Chandrasekhar Majhi, son of Kailash Chandra Majhi of Baripada village.
According to reports, Chandrashekhar (15), a student of Aruhabad High School, had complained of stomach pain after consuming chicken curry at a community feast near his house three days ago. He was initially taken to the Soro hospital, where he was treated and sent back home. Even after being discharged from the hospital, his stomach pain persisted.
However, he collapsed while getting ready for his board examination today. Family members rushed him to the Soro hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Soro police, meanwhile, have launched an investigation into the incident.
