Bolangir: In a tragic incident, a Class X student drowned in a rivulet while bathing in Turekela village under Bangomunda block in Odisha’s Bolangir district.
The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Behera.
According to reports, Mukesh and his friends had gone to bathe in a nearby rivulet on Sunday but he slipped and drowned in the deep waters. His family members rescued him and rushed him to the Khadial Mission Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.
On being informed, Khadial police seized the body and filed an unnatural death case.
