Close Shave For Chitrakonda MLA Among 30 Passengers As Malkangiri-Bound Bus Catches Fire

Bhubaneswar:  A private bus carrying over 30 passengers, including Chitrakonda MLA Mangu Khilla, narrowly escaped disaster when it caught fire near Ramabhadrapuram in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district early morning.

As per reports, the bus, en route from Bhubaneswar to Malkangiri, was completely gulfed in flames, but thanks to the driver’s quick thinking, all passengers were safely evacuated.

As per reports, the incident occurred around 4 am when the bus caught fire. The driver stopped the vehicle and evacuated everyone. Firefighters responded to the scene and brought the fire under control. However, the bus was completely destroyed. Passengers were shifted to another bus to continue their journey.
