Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the death of five persons in a road accident on the bridge over river Mahanadi in Sonepur district today early morning.
Expressing his deep sympathies to the bereaved families, Patnaik announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased.
This apart, the Chief Minister has directed for providing the best of treatment to the critically injured in the accident. He has wished for their speedy recovery.
