Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the death of a father and his daughter in a road accident near Gangapada Chowk in Khordha district.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, according to an official statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.
Majhi also announced an ex-gratia of ₹4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the next of kin of the deceased.
The Chief Minister said the financial assistance would be provided to help the bereaved family in the aftermath of the tragic accident.
