Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the deaths of Jagruti Raul and her mother, Rebati Raul, from the Jankia area of Khordha district, in a tragic road accident.

He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and announced an ex-gratia of ₹4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the next of kin of the deceased.

The accident occurred on Saturday evening when a speeding vehicle hit Rebati, her eight-year-old daughter Jagruti, and her three-year-old son as they were crossing National Highway-16 near the Patrapada area in Bhubaneswar.
