CM Majhi Announces Rs 4 Lakh Ex-gratia For Kin Of Jajpur Accident Victims

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over a tragic road accident in Jajpur district that claimed five lives and left several others injured.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased, identified as Kanda Purti, Namita Nayak, Gita Purti, Balma Munda, and Malati Munda.

Majhi announced an ex gratia assistance of ₹4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the next of kin of the victims. He also assured that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure proper medical treatment of those injured in the mishap.

The Chief Minister further wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The accident has cast a pall of gloom over the region, with local authorities engaged in relief and support measures for the affected families.
