Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed profound grief over the tragic death of Shreyansh Dey, who lost his life in a road accident at Balgandi Chhak in Puri district on Friday.
Taking to social media platform X, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul. He described the incident as deeply painful and extended his sympathies to the family members during this hour of grief.
In a gesture of support, Chief Minister Majhi announced an ex-gratia assistance of ₹4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the nearest relative of the deceased.
The Chief Minister also wished strength and courage to the family to endure the irreparable loss caused by the unfortunate accident.
