CM Majhi Announces Rs 4 Lakh Ex Gratia For Kin Of Sundargarh Road Mishap Victims

Bhubaneswar: Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in a road accident at K. Balang in Sundargarh district. He also announced an ex gratia of ₹4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the next of kin of the deceased.

The mishap claimed the lives of five persons, identified as Karmapal Singh, son of Samar Singh; Shabar Bal, son of Banshidhar Bal; Pushpa Gopi, wife of Lilamohan Gopi; Satyabhama Thakur, wife of Bhim Thakur; and Mary Nag, wife of Alias Nag.

The Chief Minister said the state government stood firmly with the bereaved families in this hour of grief.
