Keonjhar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi cancelled his scheduled Mayurbhanj visit after a technical glitch was discovered in his helicopter on Sunday. Instead of visiting Mayurbhanj, the Chief Minister decided to leave for Bhubaneswar by road.
According to reports, Majhi, who is on a three-day tour to Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj to celebrate the completion of 100 days of his government, will now leave from Bhubaneswar by car.
After attending a number of programmes in Keonjhar during the last two days, the Chief Minister was scheduled to leave for Mayurbhanj on Sunday. However, a mechanical fault was detected in the helicopter while taking off from the Raisuan airstrip towards Baripada.
