Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the death of Dr Bishnu Prasad Chinara who had gone missing following the landslide in Kerala.
In a post on ‘X’ Majhi has extended his deep sympathies to the bereaved family.
Notably, two Odia doctors who were vacationing with their spouses in Kerala had gone missing following the landslide in Wayanad.
The Odisha government has specially deputed a senior administrative officer and a doctor to Kerala to help the family members of the deceased and missing doctors.
They will coordinate with the Kerala government and expedite other related work.
Further, CM Majhi has directed the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) to remain in touch with the Kerala government.
