Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has convened an important high-level meeting this Thursday afternoon.
The meeting will primarily review the prevailing law and order situation across the state. Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Director General of Police (DGP), and all District Superintendents of Police (SPs) will participate in the meeting through video conferencing.
According to a letter issued by Additional Secretary of the Planning & Convergence Department, the Chief Secretary will also review the progress of implementation of personal notesheets issued by the Chief Minister to various departments. The Law Department is scheduled to present a detailed report titled ‘Samadhan Samaroh’ on the disposal of long-pending cases.
Additionally, a Secretary-level meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anu Garg on the 8th floor of Kharavela Bhawan. This meeting will focus on four key issues, including review of revenue collection and government expenditure in the current financial year 2026-27 and implementation status of the new proposal approved by the previous Cabinet regarding drinking water management by the Panchayati Raj Department.
