Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep concern over the breaking out of the fire at a private nursing home in Cuttack.
According to an official press release, Majhi has described it as an extremely sad incident. Organizations that save patients’ lives need to be more sensitive to such issues, he added.
Majhi has directed the Health Secretary and Cuttack Collector to relocate the patients to other hospitals at the earliest and provide them with the best treatment. He said that all treatment expenses shall be borne by the State government.
The Chief Minister has ordered a high-level enquiry into the incident. He has directed the Director General of Fire Services for strict observance of all fire safety rules.
