CM Majhi Hails Cop For Winning Gold In Karate At WPFG 2025

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated Suman Shekhar Das, a police personnel and athlete from Odisha, on winning the gold medal in the men’s under-84 kg karate category at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) held in Birmingham, USA.

The Chief Minister took to X to express his pride, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Suman Shekhar Das for winning the gold medal in the men’s under-84 kg karate category at the World Police and Fire Games 2025 in Birmingham, USA. His victory has made the state and the country proud, and we wish him continued progress and a shining future.”

The World Police and Fire Games 2025, which saw over 10,000 participants, marked a significant milestone with its hosting in Birmingham, USA, and Suman’s achievement is a testament to his dedication and prowess.
