Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a productive meeting with Simon Wong, High Commissioner of Singapore to India, and explored ways to deepen bilateral cooperation between Odisha and Singapore.
During the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing collaboration in key sectors including urban development, green energy, port infrastructure, technology, innovation, and skill development.
Highlighting Odisha’s long-term vision, CM Majhi stated that as the state moves towards Samruddha Odisha 2036 and contributes to the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, Singapore remains a valued and natural development partner.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need for early implementation of the MoUs signed during the visit of Singapore President Dr Tharman Shanmugaratnam to Odisha. Both sides also agreed to establish a structured engagement mechanism to facilitate greater investments and strengthen institutional collaboration.
