CM Majhi Orders 3-Member Committee To Probe Lapses In School Textbooks, Report In 7 Days

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed concern over errors found in school textbooks and directed immediate corrective measures.

In a high-level meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan today, the Chief Minister ordered the formation of a three-member high-level committee under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner to investigate the lapses. The committee has been asked to submit its report within seven days.

The meeting was attended by School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond, Chief Secretary Anu Garg, and other senior departmental officers.

After a detailed review, Chief Minister Majhi instructed that the errors in the textbooks be rectified immediately. The newly formed committee will identify the officials and agencies responsible for the mistakes. Strict action will be taken against those found guilty based on the committee’s findings.
