The financial assistance was released by the Chief Minister in the Presence of deputy Chief Minister and State Agriculture Minister KV Singh Deo at a state level function at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT).

The CM-Kisan scheme aims to support farmers by providing them with Rs 4,000 annually in two installments. With this latest installment, the total assistance provided under the scheme has reached Rs 1,041 crore.
