Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will distribute appointment letters to 826 Post Graduate Trained (PGT) teachers on June 6, informed School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, who reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing teacher vacancies across Odisha.
“As soon as the new government assumed office, nearly 16,000 junior teachers were appointed,” Gond stated. “Following that, appointment letters were issued to an additional 2,000 candidates. The process is ongoing and reflects our dedication to filling all existing vacancies in the teaching cadre.”
He added that the state government is not only focused on recruitment but also attentive to resolving any issues arising during the process. “We are actively listening to concerns and will take appropriate steps to address them,” the minister assured.
