Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to lay the foundation stones for 12 major industrial projects worth Rs 28,120 crore at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district today.
According to the Industries Department, these projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 15,455 people, significantly boosting the local economy.
The foundation stones will be laid for key projects including Ocior Energy Private Limited’s green hydrogen and green ammonia plant, Petronet LNG Limited’s LNG terminal, UPL Limited’s specialty chemicals facility, HHP Five Private Limited’s green hydrogen and green ammonia initiative, as well as green energy equipment projects by Saatvik Solar Industries Private Limited and World Green Energy Private Limited, among others.
The Chief Minister’s inauguration marks a significant step towards Odisha’s inclusive and region-driven industrial growth, reinforcing the state’s commitment to sustainable development and job creation.
