Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lead a high-level delegation to a two-day Investors’ Meet in Dubai on September 8 and 9, as part of the state government’s push to attract foreign direct investment.
During his visit to one of the world’s leading business hubs, the Chief Minister will showcase Odisha as an emerging industrial powerhouse and highlight the state’s investor-friendly ecosystem before global investors and business leaders.
The meet will spotlight investment opportunities across Odisha’s thrust sectors including metals and downstream manufacturing, petrochemicals, green energy and green hydrogen, food processing, textiles and apparel, electronics system design and manufacturing, and ports and logistics.
Dubai was strategically chosen as it serves as a gateway to the Middle East and hosts headquarters of major conglomerates operating across the UAE and the wider MENA region. The state aims to leverage the platform to hold B2G meetings with leading industrial groups and invite them to invest in Odisha.
The government expects the Dubai roadshow to generate fresh investment intents, bring major projects to the state and create large-scale employment opportunities for the youth.
