Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Nuapada on Monday for a day-long programme.
During his visit, he will attend a massive public gathering at the Mini Stadium, where over 20,000 people are expected to assemble. The Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development projects worth crores during his visit, sources said.
Meanwhile, the district administration has made stringent security arrangements for the CM’s visit, with tight security measures in place from the airstrip to the meeting venue.
The Chief Minister’s schedule includes arriving at the Gotma Airstrip at 11 am, followed by a visit to the Circuit House, and then attending the public meeting at the Mini Stadium at 11:40 am.
The public meeting will be attended by prominent dignitaries, including Nuapada District Collector, Health Minister, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, Kalahandi MP, and Rajya Sabha MP. After completing the programme, the Chief Minister will depart from the Gotma Airstrip at 3:35 pm to return to Bhubaneswar.
The visit is significant, given the upcoming by-elections in Nuapada, and is expected to boost the development activities in the region.
