Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has strongly condemned the alleged abusive slogans raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother at a Congress rally in Bihar’s Darbhanga. The rally stage featuring Rahul Gandhi, witnessed a controversy when party workers reportedly used offensive language against the Prime Minister.
Majhi described the incident as a reflection of the “cowardly mentality” of Rahul Gandhi and his allies. He expressed outrage over the use of rude language against PM Modi’s mother, terming it a sign of frustration and cowardice. “Such cowardly thoughts are seen only in the Congress and its party leaders,” Majhi added.
The Chief Minister asserted that the people of the country will not tolerate such behaviour and will give a befitting reply.
Notably, neither Rahul Gandhi nor Priyanka Gandhi was present when the alleged slogans were raised. The incident has sparked a massive controversy, with video clips showing party workers using abusive language against the Prime Minister.
