Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday purchased the first ticket of the India-England ODI scheduled to be held at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on February 9.
Acting Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) president Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, secretary Sanjay Behera, OCA members and Angul MLA Pratap Pradhan met Mohan Majhi and presented him the first ticket.
Earlier in the day, Sanjay Behera visited to Puri Srimandir and presented the first ticket to Lord Jagannath and sought the Lord’s blessings. The Puri District Sports Association secretary and Srimandir servitors were present at the time of presenting the ticket.
