Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to leave for Jharkhand on a two-day visit beginning September 30.
According to sources, Majhi will first visit Jagannathpur of West Singhbhum district on September 30 and take part in a pre-election rally.
Similarly, Majhi will visit Kolhan of Chaibasa on October 1 to participate in BJP’s Parivartan Yatra.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during his visit to Odisha on Friday met Chief Minister Majhi. Biswa Sarma is the deputy in-charge of Jharkhand BJP.
Worth mentioning, though dates for holding of Assembly elections in Jharkhand are yet to be announced, BJP has already began its preparations for the polls in Jharkhand.
