Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday announced a 4% increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (TI) for state government employees and pensioners.
According to an official release, the state government announced the release of a 4% additional dose of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (TI) in favour of state government employees and pensioners to enhance the rate from 46% to 50% respectively.
The enhanced DA and TI will be paid with effect from January 1, 2024.
This decision will benefit 4.5 lakh state government employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners.
