Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today asserted that BJP’s dream to form government in Odisha will fail like the party faced in Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh.
Patnaik also condemned the false allegation and use of filthy language while campaigning for their party candidates.
“Bharatiya Janata Party had said that they would form the government in Karnataka, but they failed. They had also said the same in Telangana and failed. They said the same in Himachal Pradesh and failed. I am certain that the same repetition will continue in this election in our State,” Patnaik said in a video message.
The CM further said that Union Cabinet ministers and chief ministers, who visit Odisha like a guest, should not use poor language which is not accepted by the people.
The Odisha CM prayed to Lord Jagannath to bless them with good sense.
“Senior BJP leaders such as Chief Ministers and Cabinet Ministers visit Odisha as guests. We expect them not to use poor language and make false allegations. This is not appreciated by the people of our State. I pray to Lord Jagannath that better sense prevails in them,” Patnaik added.
The Chief Minister’s statement came in the backdrop of various top BJP leaders’ assertion of forming government in Odisha and the way they criticised the BJD leaders during election campaigning.
