Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions are to prevail in several parts of Odisha for the next three days, as predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday.
Cold wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Bargarh, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Angul and Keonjhar, today and tomorrow.
Similar weather condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, and Kalahandi on January 30.
The IMD has suggested the following actions:
- Stay indoor during night and early morning and use multiple clothes to avoid exposure to cold.
- Do arrangement to keep livestock in shaded/indoor area during night.
- Avoid movement during night specially through two wheelers/open cars.
