Bhubaneswar: Odisha is experiencing a severe cold wave, with nine places recording temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. G. Udayagiri is the coldest, shivering at a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius.
Other places in the state also recorded low temperatures, with Similiguda at 5.9 degrees Celsius, Phulbani at 8 degrees Celsius, and Daringbadi at 8.5 degrees Celsius. Koraput reported a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius, while Rourkela recorded 9.5 degrees Celsius.
Jharsuguda, Bhawanipatna, and Nabarangpur were among the other places that witnessed a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius each. The cold wave conditions are expected to continue in the state, with temperatures likely to drop further in the coming days.
