Cold Wave Grips Odisha: Daringbadi Records Lowest Night Temperature

Bhubaneswar: A cold wave has gripped Odisha, with temperatures plummeting to below 20 degrees Celsius in 15 cities across the state. However, Daringbadi recorded the lowest night-time temperature at 15.5 degrees Celsius.

Phulbani recorded a temperature of 16°C, while Bhawanipatna registered 17°C. Jharsuguda, Rourkela, and Nabarangapur reported temperatures of 17.2°C, 17.3°C, and 17.5°C, respectively. Koraput and Angul both recorded 17.6°C, and Rayagada and Keonjhar had relatively warmer temperatures of 18.6°C.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no significant change in day and night temperatures over the next three days. However, a drop of 2-4 degrees Celsius in night-time temperatures is expected from November 15.
