Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday revealed that the state government has issued a set of guidelines for District Collectors and Superintends of Police (SP) to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators living in various parts of the state, including Kendrapada, Bhubaneswar, and Puri.
On Monday, MLA Bhaskar Madhei raised a question in the assembly regarding the measures being taken by the Odisha government to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators in various parts of the state, including Kendrapara, Bhubaneswar, and Puri.
Responding to the question, the Chief Minister informed that all District Collectors and SPs have been directed to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators across the state, with a focus on Kendrapara, Bhubaneswar, and Puri districts.
CM further informed that the Collectors and SPs have been asked to form teams at the block, tehsil, and police station levels to carry out the exercise.
