Dhenkanal: A college student from a private college in Dhenkanal district tragically drowned while bathing in a pond on Sunday.
The deceased student, identified as PreetiPrabhu Pattnaik, was staying in a hostel near his private college in Govindpur village under Sadar Police Station of Dhenkanal district.
According to reports, PreetiPrabhu went with his friends to bathe in a nearby pond. While they were bathing, PreetiPrabhu tragically drowned.
His friends quickly pulled him out of the water and rushed him to the Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). However, upon arrival, doctors declared him dead.
