Commissionerate Police Issues Traffic Advisory For CM Naveen’s Roadshow In Bhubaneswar On Monday

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has issued a traffic advisory for Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik’s second roadshow in Bhubaneswar to seek votes for his party nominees on Monday.

The roadshow will kick off from Punama Gate Flyover in Palaspalli and culminate at Ekamra Square passing through BDA Colony Square, Sundarpada Hata, Pokhariput Square, Prameya Square, Siripur Chhak, Ganga Nagar Square and Rajendra Vihar.

The DCP (Traffic), Commissionerate Police, issued a press release on Sunday stating that the movement of vehicular traffic will be regulated in the capital city during the Chief Minister’s roadshow to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. According to the traffic advisory, no vehicles will be allowed to ply on the route of the roadshow from 4.00 pm till it ends.

Vehicles will not be allowed to ply from Khandagiri Square towards Jagamara Square and from Delta Square towards City Women’s College Square during the duration of the roadshow. Moreover, vehicles approaching from the lanes and bylanes will not be allowed to ply from Punama Gate Flyover to Ekamra Square.

The Commissionerate Police has requested the people to plan their travelling route as per the traffic restrictions during the roadshow.
