Panda said that almost all police stations under Bhubaneswar UPD have played a role in the recovery of mobile phones and gold chains, and also vehicles from time to time.
The maximum number (60) of mobile phones have been recovered and their lawful owners have been traced by the OCPO (Organised Crime in Property Offences) Cell, Panda added.
He said that apart from this the POPD (property offence prevention and detection) Cell and Special Squad have recovered several gold chains and around 30 are being handed over to their lawful owners.
